Im hoping theres someone out there who can understand this problem. I have been working on a map for about a month now, i was just adding the finishing touches to it....i added a flag from a different map, which i had done before with the very same flag and i had no problems. And now my map wont open :cry: is there anyway to recover my work or someway to take the flag out? Heres the error i get, it happened after i added that flag.....General protection fault!

History: callingGetPerioid <- 1 <- FSoundData::Load <- UALAudioSubsystem::RegisterSound <- UALAudioSubsystem::SetViewport <- UEditorEngine::ResetSound <- UEditorEngine::Exec_Map <- UEditorEngine::Exec <- (MAP LOAD FILE="C:\UT2003\Maps\CTF-{=TLA=}Faaip_de_OiadBeta2.ut2") <- UUnrealEdEngine::Exec <- FileOpen <- WEditorFrame::OnCommand <- WWindow::WndProc <- WWindow::StaticProc <- MessagePump <- MainLoop

looks like the problem is something to do with audio.

TRY this, it probably wont work, but its worth a shot.

in your UT2003.ini, find the section [Editor.EditorEngine]
and set UseSound=False and try and open the map.

Find the last autosave from before the error.

I think the standard naming is Auto0.ut2 - Auto9.ut2

Sort them by date and work backwards...

Fecal Marmaset, you were SOO close :) the last tag has to have a "/" in it like: [/img]

the "/" tells its the end tag.

That image address doesnt work by iteslf anyway.
I copied and pasted in brower and nada

but a real URL of a pic will work the way I said
