Server Side Recording

Can someone give me the link or explanation on how to take server side recordings so that they record to the server itself. I know how do client side recording but to avoid lag on my end during game I would like record directly to the server.
Also, what perspective is a server sode recording taken in?

Easy. Log in as a server admin via console, use the command:

admin demorec <name>

It will record all perspectives.
