Just curuios as to how many folks are using voice software to communicate while your playing UT?


Personally we use Ventrilo it's free and works extremly well..

We Use Roger Wilco because our servers are hosted bu Fragism and that's what they provide.


BUT...i've heard that the other voice chat programs are far better... :bulb:

You have to have server support for both TS and Vent.:)

But you can run teh damn server program from almost anything, Hel lyoucan us it with an old 386 if you have one around, the program runs from a command line so no need for windows, al you need is an internet connection , and teh software and any old 386 or up and you got a Ventrilo server.

I didnt even know that these chat programs were available, but ive actually used yahoo messenger voice chat with another person and it worked along side the game without interfering and I was using dial-up at the time. Dont know how well it would work with more people in a conference.

You just need to dl the free software and get a microphone.
