these are silly questions but i am curious:

can you shoot yourself with the shock rifle beam?

Is there actually a way to get the shock combo accurate?

Why can't i dodge properly? :bulb:

no,

practice or dont move when comboing, or dont strafe when comboing

#3 cuz it takes practice and thought out movement of how you will negotiate the map.

Sorry, but what is a shock combo?

Fire the shock rifle's secondary and then shoot the ball with your primary. The results are impressive. (Much more damage and much bigger explosion therefore it kills multiple people). Practice this by shooting it in a straight line and staying still. Once you've got that down you should try to be able to pull it off while running and eventually while dodging. You will be feared. If you get really good and manage to kill 20 people in a row with the shock combo you will be called a shock whore. Try it!:D

I figured out the shock combo by myself, just didnt know it was called a shock combo... Only managed to pull it off in Single Player games though... :)

actually if someone has there shield up and u shoot in the right angle you can hit yourself. and if you try a shock combo while runninng and do it fast your can kill yourself very easily.

the shock combo is just one fo those things that takes time and practice.

it depends wut kind of dodging you are trying to do.

practice makes perfect for dodging and combos...

if you keep doing both for awhile youll find you cant live or frag without either after awhile ;)

if you are really having trouble with the combo, play with just bots set to a low skill level until you can combo them while they are moving, then keep increasing the bot skill level till you can combo them on godlike while you are moving too :up:

when dodging sometimes it helps to see what you look like when you do it, bring down the console (~ key) then type behindview 1 then get rid of the console, now you see yourself in third person and you can practice Dodge and double jumping and wall jumping and see what you are doing... once you see how the character reacts, set your viewpoint back by bringing down the console (~ key) and type behindview 0

also, i think it's 15 to be a combo whore, just like 15 to be a flak monkey or headhunter (headhunter is when you get 15 headshots in a single map)
