As far as you rterrain disappearing is concerned I can only presume you havent done a full build before playtesting. Difficult to say on that one.
As for the bottomfeeder thing. I think it has to do with how well, or in that case how poorly you have fared on the single player ladder. I havent even touched single player so I get it all the time.

BottomFeeder that is.........eurch:bulb:

The terrain usually disappeares for me too, then I only select the terrain-icon and move it a little bit up, down or aside and then rebuild again...whoops and I get it back:)

"Bottom Feeder" appears & is called by the announcer if you play a Mutant game (as opposed to DM/CTF/etc).

You'll continue to get the mutant/bottomfeeder thing.....until you actually go into level properties and change the level info, to reflect a "true" deathmatch.

Here's the easy solution.

Right click in solid space somewhere, (not the maps geometry) and select Level Properties.

Open/expand Level info

Right click and copy the text, in the field PreCacheGame, and paste it in the field DefaultGameType.

Done.

Thing is, before the availability of the Mutant mod, the UED3 game test always defaulted to standard death match.

Somehow this was changed for everyone upon installing the, erm, mutant came with a bonus pack right?

Well, I wish UED3 would still default to standard death match.

It's a simple thing to fix, but it wasn't 'broken' before.

oh well.

Yeah........everytime I start a new map, I think about the 10.5 seconds it takes me to fix it. Then I go crying to my room, wondering where the day went.:bulb:
