first this bug sometimes occurs with not uptodate no-cd patches..
second.. even if you get the game working... don't think it is playable with your system.. sorry....

true about the system, check out the back of the games box
Minimum
Win 98/me/win2000 with sp2/xp
cpu is 733Mhz p3 or amd
128 mb ram
hdd 3gb
16mb 3d card
Direct x 8.1
And I though my old system was slow (it would run deus ex and the like with software rendering)
p200 (non MMX)
matrox graphics card
win 98

I have decided to continue my denial and believe my system can play the latest games. You see, the hardware companies make deals with the software companies and the software companies say you need the latest this and that so people buy the better hardware and they all make more money. I wont be fooled by thier marketing ploys.
Anyway, i have the unreal cd's, but its a cracked version i thing cus its got this guys name all over the setup process and it doesnt ask for cd key
Im going to get a proper cd form a friend.

sorry to tell you, but despite your denial, your system will NOT run UT2003 at any acceptable framerate. (unless 3 fps is acceptable)

yeah when i said "unplayable" i meant exactly that thing! it's not that the game won'r run... it's in fact not sure if it will.. but you cannot play at 320x240 with minimum details everything off and 15fps....

3 fps is excellent, it gives me plenty of time to think of what im going to do next, and a very big advantage over those players who have normal frame rates since they have to make quick decisions, such as - "should i blow this lagged statue player apart or just walk on by'.

you won't even get 3 FPS, more like 0.1 FPS. I believe jesus had an exact same system as you have in the year 0.
