Mine Cart level.

In the June issue of OXM Cliffy B states the there will be a MINE CART RIDE level:eek: "We decided to throw in the mother of all cleches as a big wink." Stated Bleszinski "Besides, the mine cart is the original portable cove. We walk from here."

Noooo! why did you do it epic? not very original.

What do you guys think about a mine cart ride level??

I actually have a vid of it, ill post it when i find it! Its not bad, its actually insanely sweet!!! Plus comin this is a shooter! Its like saying "Grenades are so cliche!"

What would have been an interesting concept for that level would have been if corpsers started tearing apart the tunnel, and as you go through, one of them caves in your path. As part of delta squad set up demo kits to blow the rocks, another corpser crashes through, and you have to hold your ground in the still cart against a constant wave of drones, theron guards, boomers, and wretches.

Yet, I love what Epic did with the level. This is definatly knocking Resident Evil 4 on the GC off my fav. game spot.

ya the snub is a "one trigger pull, one bullet" type of gun, looks pretty sweet, can't wait to try it out

Yes, this mine cart level was demonstrated at the TGS (think around September of 2005). Don't know why anyone would be upset by this, doesn't look like the one in that James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire level (that was bad). Actually want to play this level, looks fun.

yeah! thats going to be especially fun when u have those 2 seperate mine carts, just like cliffy was saying in the podcast interview u found, take seperate paths but see each other every once and a while, like threw a "chain link fence", u know what im talking about:)
