Hi
I have an ordinary Ethernet network set up between my two PC's. (TCP/IP, 100Mbps)
It's very slow at transfering levels and such before a game. It does about 0.1% every 4 seconds for a 5 megabyte file.
It is much faster transferring the files through Windows.
Why is it so slow it UT2003?

The ping times are very high aswell, around 250.
When I ping the other PC from Windows, it says <1ms
Why is it so slow in UT2003, are there any settings I should change?

it could be your firewall... did you try without ?

No, the connection isn't firewalled.
Are there hidden settings in UT2003.ini I could change?
What kind of pings should I be expecting?

I get slow transfer speeds when our LAN server tries to push content across, so slow in fact that we always just close UT and transfer with Windows.
I get <5ms pings though across the LAN.

put -lanplay after your adress in your shortcut...that fixed mine...
