irc.utchat.com?

anyone know why the main chat server irc.utchat.com isnt working.

when i click on connect it says server connected and then a few seconds later says failed to connect to the chat server. No real problem but i sometimes go on ut2003 chat for help rather than here because i get a quicker response but it seems the server is down...or is it just me?

another thing is i downloaded the 2225 patch (12.34meg) and the ut2003-BrightSkins mod (30.92meg) with 56k last night, took 3 and a half hours OMG :o
A problem though....when the huge 30meg file ut2003-BrightSkins mod was downloaded, the icon for the file is a DOS icon (white box with blue outline) and when i double click it, a dos prompt comes up and then dissapears again.

This cant be right so i think something must of happened when i was downloading because it seems like the mod is corrurpt. I got it off the offical ut2003 site.
i get cut off every 2 hours by my ISP Freeserve but DAP resumes the download fine so it seemed.

Does anyone know where i can get this brightskins mod in zip form as i dont feel like downloading 30 meg again on 56k. being in a zip file will compress it a bit.

Maybe this can help. its a long shot but it beats downloading 30 megs again. Its called BadCopy Pro and it fixes corrupt files such as the one you were saying. You can download this from Kazaa or if u want i'll just send it thru email. Email me here if u have any other questions. leitz409@aiis.net

irc.utchat.com did go down for a bit but we are resuming services shortly. maybe within the coming week. for old users who wish to return the server and services are still the same and at time of writing most of the old clan rooms have been transferred successfully- tho some may have been lost. in any case all are welcome to join us:)

New users are of course welcome too - we have a team of dedicated staff who will be more than happy to assist you with your UT related problems and have a range of support channels for specific UT related issues. we will asl be resuming the recruiting channel for all clans who wish to get noticed:)

What does this have to do with anything lol warez... when ever , who ever requires warez stuff on a forum always has an irc involved even though utchat was a great place to hang out though i know this post is old......who cares

oh and funny thing about warez us weather its a patch u need or some app or exe you all require it the best and hardest way you can only to find out one day george bush has been trying to download a WMD on www.blackmarket.com on a 56k winth only 1 user but tends out to only have half the download...... common guys.gals we have all done it.
