Corrupt Connection Detected!!!

I keep on getting this error message over and over again. I seem to be able to connect to only 5% of the sites listed. Is there a way to fix this problem?

The error is actually supposed to be 'incompatible game files'. If you update to the latest patch the error message is fixed.

This happens when you d/l certain custom content from a server, then try to join another server that recognizes what you've downloaded and doesnt accept it. A couple of fixes are to clear out your cache folder with all your recently downloaded content...or restart UT2003.

The error is not fixed in any patch. I have not been able to play online since the original release of the game.

CORRUPT CONNECTION DETECTED

The only difference with the new patch is that I now get an assortment of other error messages as well when trying to log on to a server. It has progressively gotten worse with every new release. At first it was about 25% of servers, then 75%, and now a full 100% of servers find some type of error message to throw at me.

Never had any problem with any other game on or offline but this game is a mess... it has got to be the buggiest POS ever created.

On top of this, when I install the new patch, it tells me I'm installing version 2111 instead of 2225! So the bonus pack won't install either because my version isn't high enough. ?????????

Epic, thanks for the headaches. I'd like my money back.
