As far as I know - the action figures are still a go. They're being made by a company called 'Radioactive Clown'. I think the delay was 'cos of the manufacturer's turnaround time. I'll ping the guys over there and see what's up...

. Saphire is one of the major skins of UT2003, as she is on almost every advertising component of UT2003, along with Malcolm and Gorge. These models i think should b done first. But i would love a Memphis skin just for me tho :)

Thanks for the input on other characters you'd like to see! We're currently completing Domina and are considering all characters for future lines.

I'm a little partial myself to Rapier and Cobalt.

Will different guns be sold separately? So, say I like the Sapphire toy that comes with the lightning gun but I like the shock rifle that comes with Damarus. Would I have to buy both so I could give my pretty little Sapphire her shock rifle? I think it would be cool if you sold a "gun pack" which just came with all the guns. I would definitely by a figure and the gun pack if you did that, but I doubt I would buy two figures just because I want a gun one of them has.

Actually Damarus has 18 points of articulation and Gorge has 14. Damarus has more because of his tail and the way his legs bend. ;)

Nice. I've got tons too, like all the Movie Maniacs up untill the 4th set, then I kind of stopped, as well as the quake2 figures (plus the special marine), the Spawn classics, a non bloody Leatherface, and the 2 sets of the series one Tortured Souls (which are signed by Clive) and 2 sets of series two which aren't signed. :cry: I tried to get pic, but my cam is being craptastic. I used to have a ton of figures, but lost interest in only a few select ones. :(

"Yes, the assault rifle will come from the same mold for every character. So basically the weapons should be interchangeable."

Which kind of shops will distribute them : supermarkets? toy shops such as Toys R US? or only comics and merchandise specialised shops (I'm thinking the shop that generally distribute the McFarlane toys as well)?

Are the figures going to be available worldwide?
(I live in France)
Which kind of shops will distribute them : supermarkets? toy shops such as Toys R US? or only comics and merchandise specialised shops (I'm thinking the shop that generally distribute the McFarlane toys as well)?

If it's not available in my country will it be possible to purchase them on-line directly from you?

We have distribution in Europe. You should be able to find them in the same type of stores you purchase games and other action figures.

This is actually what we call a test shot. This is the finished product that goes into the packaging, they print out a few before production begins in full so that we can catch any errors that could possibly be present.

This version of Damarus is what you will find on the shelves; earlier today the Damarus on my desk was doing the exact same kick. Now he is just holding his Shock Rifle menacingly

Blow up dolls, hmmm, I'm pretty sure that would have to be a separate license agreement. I think 5 ft rubber and latex could only be called an action figure if you put "action" in quotes.

Very nice figures! Damarus is awesome. I hate Gorge anyway, so I'll pass on the figure.

The shock rifle that comes with Damarus is huge! Which is funny, because we've been complaining that weapons are gigantic compared to the models in UT2003. But it looks like they emulated the size ratio of the game. The detail on the figures isn't as obsessive as a MacFarlane figure, but that's no problem, because there is still plenty of detail. I wish there was more on Damarus's chest plates, but not at the expense of stuff falling off, like on a MacFarlane figure.

Everything else about the Damarus figure is awesome.

Whoever said the rocket launcher paint job was lousy was correct, though. (RL comes with Gorge). But hey, who cares. Gorge sucks.

More UT2003 figures please!!!! You guys at Radioactive clown have another $14.99 coming your way as soon as Domina hits the shelves. Way to go, guys!

I understand completly Atr0p0s. Xan is actually one of my very favorite original UT characters, and I must admit, the new version is frickin' amazing. When I was at the CPL (www.thecpl.com) a few months ago and I wanted to steal the life sized Xan from the Nvidia booth. :p

The Clown works in mysterious ways. :eek: The new color is actually spot on for the game, and it was felt that we needed to get as close as possible.

Domina is shipping in time for the holiday season, with an additional round of Gorge and Damarus.

As far as the RL color goes, I didn't look too closely, but there was a lot of green, and the silver seemed a little dull. Since I play with weapons hidden, I recall the RL ingame as being silver and red, with a shiny, metallic silver. But I could be wrong.

But anyway, don't take my comments above as being bad, I work in graphics and tend to evaluate nearly everything I see... It's a bad habit and people can take my critiques the wrong way.

If you like Gorge, you'll like the figure.

P.S. Damarus eats Gorge for breakfast! :-)
