the torquebow sounds so freakin cool, cliffyB said it was one of his favorite weapons, i is a cross-bow that shoots explosive arrows, u can charge them up and then shoot, and then u can detonate them when they are stuck in ppl or some object (in ur face halo 2 sticky nades and Bf2 c4! lol), u can use the anolog stick to control how far u want to shoot it, and at what are, its soooo cool, i really am excited about this weapon! o and i heard that u can remotly detonate the explosive arrows or they just explode on contact or are delayed, not sure about on-contact or delayed...can anyone confirm? btw post any other info you know about this weapon, or anyother cool weapons:D

I was just readind about this in my June issue of OXM. This is going to be one badd a** bow. Here is a quote from the issue from ClifftB:

"I love the Torquebow. I love waiting for a locust to pop out, charging the weapon, sticking the arrow into his head, watching him crouch back down, and then hitting Fire to watch the ensuing mass of flesh erupt."

lol cliffy is crazy!!!!!!! i guess its only remote detonation then, i hope it is also "exlode on contact" or atleast delayed, o well this is so cool, like i said before Bf2's C4 and Halo 2's sticky nades got nuthin on the Troquebow!

Where did you hear this from? Are you sure you don't mean the Bolo Grenade that is a stick gernade that is swung like a mace? If it isn't that, then this would be intresting

i don't know bout the halo 2 plasma nades,
i could kill anyone with them.

but the bow sounds so cool!

hit a locust in the foot w/ torque bow + ragdoll physics = HAPPY TRUKEN :)

Hopefully you can make custom games with no team kill. Then have everyone shoot your feet with the arrows the detonate at the same time. Launching anyone?

has anyone playede 007 Rogue Agent? they have a gun like this torque bow. it sucked on PS2 but i have no doubt its totally gonna own on the 360 and gears of war

btw, i'm really behind, dont shoot me when i say this but is the lancer the one with the chainsaw? *flinches in fear of being shot*
