Epic: Weapon Selection in GoW

I noticed a weapon selection menu that you must pull up to select your desired weapon, will this be the only way to select another weapon?

Will this be the same method in multiplayer?

to select a weapon u just press up on the d-pad, up is for grenades, down pistol, right is weapon slot 1 and left is weapon slot 2, and i dont think their is any other way to choose weapons b/c all the other buttons are used for other things

well, i know alot too..but theres still so much to learn, i'm always on the look-out for more info.Plus my clan from playing F.E.A.R. and Ghost Recon are coming in here to join, and become Gearheads, lol

For me 4 buttons isnt a lot to remember.:)

I memorized it since E3 I just think they put the menu since you know which weapon you are choosing so there aren't any cofusion about which weapon is in weapon slot 1 and which ones in weapon slot 2(I don't wanna get up close with a berserker in a room and try to pick my shotgun then accidently get a torque bow)

yeah, if you've seen the videos, it's pretty easy to know which directions choose which weapons...

The d pad is defintley the best way to pick weopons it allows fast selection on hte move and will help prevent from being capped because of mid battle weopon switch.
