Hey!

I just installed UT2003 on my Gentoo Linux system. Fresh install without patches and it rocks and everything works great! But, if i install patches, i get this annoying mouse look problem. I can only look up and down, left / right -look wont work at all (only by keyboard). I have tryed to change settings from settings -> input, but no difference. So, what and how should I tweak my .ini file(s), that mouse look would work fully again?

Comp. specs:

AMD Athlon 1333MHz, 512Mb,
Radeon 8500 128Mb, (ATI Linux drivers 2.5.1),
Gentoo Linux 4.1 RC2 (kernel 2.4.19-gentoo-r10)

me too. my mouse behavior is so strange. i usually can move about 3/4 of the screen. it seems as if my mouse runs in a 640x480 window, which is located in the upper left of the screen. but when i use some "force" i'll be able to actually make the mouse "jump" over this virtual border. as annyoning it is in the game menu, it makes the game impossible to play for me, because i can't turn around but only got an angle of 45 to look left and right. i've tried all possible settings for the mouse, but it just won't work with the latest patch.

ah yeah... an my sound stutters sometimes.

is this a known issue? any help from the devs/mods?

I'm just guessing, but would CTL-G help at all? Maybe its not the problem, but it might snap it back in line.
