The reason why some parts look TTM-ish [solid neon-colour] is because they're not done yet. It's just a place holder of what I should put there.

Loosecontroll6, I was looking at eastern island heads for the first one. For the second one, I could try a coconut texture over the stone texture and see how it works. I made her look sad, to stay true to the original one. I have plans on make certain armour pieces, like the boots and gauntlets, use the coconut texture.

In UT1 there was a time that I had talked to some peeps about a skin I wanted to make ( sadly...they didn't know how to help and I was a n00b so I gave up..maybe...to quickly ) I wanted to make a skin/model that was loosely based on Pinocchio :) little wooden arms/legs, yellow vest, green corduroy shorts, funny little Swiss hat, and a 'hand painted' twisted demon grin with red eyes. Hehe I had even thought of some stuff for a voice pack....like a high pitched ( warped ) voice saying stuff like " I will have no need for your tears in Hell" <--- OMG LOLOOOLOLO!!11!! :bulb: GG?

I bought UT2k3 the very day it came out and on the second day I discovered Upaint. :eek: At first...I opened up Diva and started to drawl on her but then I discovered the textures and thats when CoCoNut started to come to life. LOL I was transfixed and totally caught up in making her. <--- Was it ( sort of ) the realization of that old dream driving me on?....yes I think so.

2 cartons of cigs. and 17 2liters of Mountain Dew later....CoCoNut was done...as well as I could make her. <--- do I need help.... yes I think so. :p


I am very excited to see Kirins CoCoNut and really appreciate the time and work that Kirin has done in making her become a real skin.

Nice work, Kirin. Do you realize how much better you've gotten at skinning since I first saw your work a couple of years ago? Not that it was ever bad, but you're really continuing to improve. I love the second head. Great schtuff.

The skin should be ready by tonight. All I need to do is set up appropriate stats, write up a nice little Bio and package her up and it should be good to go. :)
