uT2k3 ERROR...HELP

any suggestions on wht to do here to resolve this error would be great...Thnx in advance...I have tried deleating the .INI file and no luck

Definately graphics related as it cant create the display.

Check you have all the latest drivers for your graphics card, motherboard, and directx9 (although 8.1 seems to work better for some people so you might want to try that version first seems directx9 isn't uninstallable!).

Failing that you could try reinstalling the game.

Yea I've tried reinstalling with no luck either and have direct x 9 also...the wierd thing is that I had reciently went from a 900 athlon system that ran the game to an 1.8gig athlon...yes a different motherboard too. Was wondering if there were any quick fixes but finding out that there is never a quick fix for any comp. problem.....I will wait for a reply befor system gets a fresh OS install.

its generally good practice to reinstall your os when making major changes such as mobo/cpu.

its not always neccesary but windows acculumates a lot of crap which could always do with a spring clean :D

Sorry for such a long reply but to no luck with reinstalling I cannot get the game to run...yes same error?? I'm lost to what it could be to cause the error....anyway any other suggestions would be great.

patch the game to ltest patch available and use latest graficdrivers available?
