I bagged both the MP5 and the Benneli Shotgun that Raven and Ghandi have made available at Unreal Playground and placed them into modified versions of the of the Dead Cat maps/

This zip file contains all of the Dead Cat CTF maps with Raven and Ghandi's MP5 and Benneli Shotgun weapons added into them. The MP5 is, IMHO, the most versatile and powerful weapon ever placed in any Unreal level. The Benneli Shotgun is almost a short-range Instagib weapon. A direct hit in the head or upper torso is a certain kill.

what about using them in any map? as a mutator?

but why the hell bring those weapons into a map in UT2k3 ?
Hell, I go play Tac ops CS or something like that if I want to use realistic guns.

I'm sorry, but if you can't see the mini-napalm in that, then I can't help you out.
I am assuming here that you are one of the people that plays for the competition and takes all of this seriously. I am just a server admin that happens to make maps that people seem to like....a lot. Not that they are good maps, just they are whacky and fun...which is something Epic managed to leave out of many of their maps this time around.
I'll tell you what, go download the maps. Load up Acid Pipe Xmas-DCMP5 and blow up some bots with the Benneli to the mellow sounds of Bing Crosby singng Christmas songs in the background. If that doesn't make you laugh, then I'll STFU...Okay?

I played on two of the maps today on the DC server...129.113.170.13 for that don't know...and it is just a hoot blowing sh1t up with the Benneli. I can't get enough of it!
The hallways in Boom Boom Bridge are like so many death rows now....:D

Best as I can tell...and remember that I'm a server admin and mapper not a code-monkey...it doesn't work that way. You could use them in an arena mutator, and then replace a single weapon with one of them, but not just make them appear on their own in any map.
Trust me, it was no piece of cake getting them to work inside the maps. UED3.0 didn't like some of the skins and I had to convert them to a .dds DTX1 format, plus there are problems with the sound files and i kept getting GPFs until I figured that out too.:mad:

I've had to remove these MP5 maps from my servers. They don't seem to be compatible with UTSecure. Every time a map loads with the MP5 mod everyone gets booted from the server with this message when using Ravens mp5 from prefablab. What a shame to they looked like nice maps. :(

I guess that makes sense. I'm not running secure on our servers...didn't run CHSP either on UT99...so they run just fine.
I predict this is gonna be a huge problem on down the road unless there is a steady, and rapid, update process for secure to recognize these types of mods.

It's an animation issue...Ghandi is aware of it and they will try to correct it...Drives me crazy too...:eek:
Not enough to stop using them, however...:D
