Hi all,
I'm trying to get UT2003 to install under linux, but when I run the installer, the install dir is locked, and the 'begin' button is disabled. Something is complaining about GTK being out of date, but I'm not sure if it's the Loki installer of GTK itself. I'm running Mandrake 9, can anyone help me?

For some reason it requires you to not have /dev/fd0 in your fstab file. The whole line must not be in it.
And you need to install it as a normal user.
And another thing is that it is labeled wrong so
play disk == disk1
disk1 == disk2
disk2 == disk3
I don't know why.

TheOneRing said to do this. And it works before you run the installer. Mandrake 9.1 people do not have to comment out the floppy for mandrake 9.1 because it does not seem to get in the way with the supermount system. Then simply put in your first CD ROM labeled DISK #1 and not Play Disk and double click on the CDROM icon on the desktop. The folder will come up and mount your CDROM. export SETUP_CDROM=/mnt/cdrom/ Ok you do need to be root in the cosole before you enter that command su root will do this nicely and you enter in the password. I copied my install program from the third disk to the hard drive before I started by the way. It makes it much easier. Now when it asks you for a new disk simply close out your window that has the CD contents in it and then put in the new disk and click the icon again. Then click yes to the CDROM Disk #1 is Disk #2 and Disk # 2 is Disk #3. That should finish you out.
