I have played maps online called VST kitchen, bedroom and living room. They're cool. I wanted to download them to play single player. Anyone know where I can get them and will they work without instagib?:eek:

VSK isn't much liked around here, at least by me. They steal maps and call them thier own, plus they cheat online.

Those maps suck anyway, so you can probably get them where crap maps are abundant: www.UT2003HQ.com

I think GMC made those maps your talking about, VSK Ray just stole them then called them his own creation, get in touch with the GMC clan.

BTW, Ray got our Binslayer too, the original !! ONS.

I am relatively new to the forum and have had great success with it. This is first time I have ruffled so many feathers! I did not know that the maps were stolen or that any map would be stolen. They must be little kids, like 9 or 10. Does not seem like anyone older than that could do something so wrong. Anyways thanks for all the input and btw where can I get the map Dec 24th (its where there is a christmas tree and lots of presents) That one is not instagib, at least when I played it.

I have a question concerning VSK stolen goods. I dl'ed a few weapon muts that have their name on, and I heard that they were stolen too. So my question is, whose are they? because I want to put them on my pc but i want to change the name from VSK(mut name) to (author)(mut name). to give the real author due credit... The muts are VSKRocketSniper, VSKWaxerRifle2, and vskautolightning. I would appreciate ant info about the real authors.

Rozz and Bones made the Binslayer, Ray calls them differen't names now but he has not made any gun mods, he just changes the name on them and other dumb looking and sounding stuff, very minor! Same with all of his stolen maps! He does not know how to do anything but steal. VSK Ray and VSK Nutsac are behind it all.


Anyway if you query your servers in ut2003 look for ONS Free clinic and ONS morning after, you will see the real deal.

I was not aware, that they have stolen so many things. Like I mentioned earlier, I have rated 1 of those maps (VSK-LivingRoom).

I do not support stealing in any way, but I want to see some profe of those stealing acusement before I will remove the map or take contact to VSK for there version of all this. I think that would be fair.

Maybe they consider there maps as remakings, just like all those deck16][, that have been made. I have seen lots of other maps, that are remake from UT or other maps, so why are everybody so angry with VSK?

I wonder if Epic(or anyone for that matter) could devise a way to "fingerprint" or some type iof digital watermark to make it harder for people to steal the work of others. Maybe some kind of password protection against editing the map/mute/mod etc.

Probably be real difficult tho...

P.S. I've only seen 1 vsk map in which more than the textures were changed, a third level that was stuck in between the original 2

I don't know who did what to who whenever - before I was playing UT.

But I do know I've been in VSK for a few months and playing with against VSK members for nearly a year on UT and UT2k3 and they do not cheat!

I've seen so many instances of cheating and never had a problem with VSK, so when they recruited me I said yes. I would like to see some proof of cheating. If we were a cheat clan I must not be in the loop because I don't even know how to find an aimbotting program let alone install it!!

As far as stealing. Last time I checked Microsoft didn't takeover EPIC and then copyright and product key UnrealEd and all that it spawns. I mean people make changes and modifications to maps all the time. I'm not gonna say 100% sure that someone in our Clan didn't redo a map and not give full credit because I'm not GOD and don't know ALL and see ALL. HOWEVER, I do know I've never seen anyone openly say "Ok here's this GMC map and now it's ours." BS!!! Hell, I ported over two old VSK maps from UT - I don't know where they came from, I don't give a sh*t. I just wanted some fun maps to play on, Mickey Mouse can have the credit for the map if it helps you guys sleep better at night.

I've never seen anything about VSK cheating, so personally I wouldn't be accusing them of that.
What I do see is Roy saying "I don't give a ****" about taking maps. Taking a custom map and making ANY changes to it without explicit permission is completely wrong. Taking parts of that map and adding them to your own work is just as bad, as is taking a map, slapping your banner in it and maybe changing a few lights or textures.
You may feel "what's wrong with taking a few static meshes", but if you do you've obviously never done any yourself.

People tend to ask before manipulating a map and give credit, and many a vsk map has the readme saying theirs is an original

GMC is not a clan. GMC is a community of many UT & UT2003 clans. The GMC was started over two years ago, to bring together people that enjoyed low grav + instagib + translocators + giant maps.

Generally the qualifications to be called a GMC clan are:
DM & CTF
Game Speed 150-160,
Air Control 50-55,
Low Grav mutator,
Maps with the SuperShockRifle (Enhanced Shock Rifle (although there are no-ESR GMC servers)).
Translocator,
Giant scale, realistic maps.

There are about 30 clans that are part of the GMC community: CBGB, SdK, 2399, RAT, OHMS, IFC, WOC, and many more.

At one point, Ray was in a clan that participated in the GMC community and was promptly kicked out of his clan and GMC for modifying a map (without permission) to include a looping porn scene playing on a TV. Since that day Ray@VSK (Ray Parker) and friends have hacked and threatened to hack our site numerous times and has made various personal threats. The map & mutator stealing is his side gig, along with server rentals.

Ray maintains a site that was basically copied from ours, no major deal, but it goes to show you what you're dealing with.

well a few of the times I have played vsk i have found it unusual that after I frag someone they come back immediatly with the same weapons they had before the kill and invisiblility is possible but never for an entire game

I have tried to contact Tom, to get a statement from him of who is the original owner of the map. I could not contact him.

I then contacted Kristina (Packet £o§§), who failed to convince me, that she was the original owner (as she claimed).

Therefore, the map has now been removed form www.utmr2003.dk and Packet £o§§ can no longer add maps to the site.

Here is the answer from Kristina, that convinced me:
"I dont have to prove **** to anybody. I dont owe anybody a god damn thing.

Heh...I remember that one...called it DM-Porno, yes? I think there was another one...DM-AdultTheater or something similar, which was basically a movie theater with a porno playing onscreen. I really enjoyed playing these maps, but that was before learning they were bastardized versions of other people's work

What do you mean by way to busy? Is it the 4 themes at the first page, that you think is to many? (top 5 news, 5 latest maps, top 5 discussion and the search) Is it the chat that is confusing? Is it the menu?
