  Excellent. I liked DM-Aqua but this is far better than that level. Better layout, gameplay and runs much faster.
I only complaint, as with the first one, is it still runs a little too slow. I hit redline on a couple of occasions. But other than that, good stuff.
Would not be suprised if it got ownage. :D
How about a different theme next time though. Those shiptech models are getting a little over used imo.

its good, but the FPS issues need to be adressed. he could have used quite a few anti-portals in the main-room, that would have greatly improved frame rates. Also, there is too much clutter that gets in the way, it's really annoying trying to get around this map.

Nice map but performance stops me from playing it :(
I have between 20 and 30 FPS (on 800x600 with almost everything on lowest detail and no bots) in most places in the map except for the tubes where I have between 40 and 50 so this is just one of those new computer try out maps for me (though I'm broke atm). Another thing is that the map has a lil bit too much portals imo, makes fighting someone pretty confusing.
Anyway, good luck on your next map (you seem a good mapper to me) but please work a bit more on the performance next time:(

I think it is a fun map! Lots of z-axis and tons o places to evade fire from. Very fast games!

I appriciate that you enjoy it. I hope you find all the in's and out's. It was fun to make.
And as for the teleporters just remember they function like an elevator in this instance.
I did my best to zone it and anti portal ect. If you have less than a 1GHz and a GeForce3 or Radeon 8500 or better I would bet you have framerate issues.
The bots do very well I think. I sure had fun beta testing online.

I have a PIII 1,8 GHz and a Geforce 3 ti200, put hehe I must admit, my computer is a mess and I really should empty the whole freaking thing (first gotta finish me games though, I don't wanna lose any savegames :p) so maby that's where my bad performance comes from.

I have a PIII 866, 256 MB Ram, Gforce 2 32 MB Video.
Yes I have a few things set to low...
Textures: low
World: high
Physics: normal
Player Models: low
Detail Textures: off
Tri-Linear: off
Blob Shadows: off
Everything else on. And I can play the map fine with 5 or so bots. So it shouldnt be a problem for most out there if you admit to yourself your comps cababilities. :)
Nice Map girlie.

My maps tend to push hardware but I have found that UT2003 dose seem to take a bit of tweaking of the *.ini to run good! Look around the forums I found some changes that gave me a dramatic improvement.

DM_aqua][ Nice work MarciaB another great map Though it seems to lacking your siginature lighting that I loved in the first and Thermalcore. I await the next installment in your series for UT2k3.

Funny thing is I got a stern warning from one of the pros;) not to let the fog light my levels so much. Yet everyone liked the lighting on Aqua. And with Thermal Core I was told to go for more contrast. And I thought they meant color contrast so it came out looking like Christmas:D Turns out I think they meant light dark contrast:D I personaly like all of them but I am biased I suppose:p

To hell with what Pros. think (unless you talking Professional Level designer)I personally loved the lighting in your first two maps. I noticed that pro gamers like maps stripped down to the most basic textures and no real flash. They will say it's too distracting. Please Keep up the awesome work.I'll keep playing them on my server.

She was probably talking about level designer.
Anyway, I noticed this map barely ran better than the last Aqua, which wasn't really playable if you ask me. So I am a bit dissapointed in it. I dont really like teleporters either.
But it looks pretty good :)

Unfortunatly that is what I know:( I take what I am given and make it unique.
Learning mesh making and all that is as it were unfortunate that I have not the time.
Thanks for looking at least.

Great map even if it is Epic models. Dont worry about learning a 3D app, no need unless you have the time to learn it right. Your pumping out great maps with your own look which is good enough for me.
Keep up the good work, cant wait for the next one.
