Different box-covers? or no?

I was just wondering if anybody knew if Epic is gonna keep the box cover the same for both the normal edition and the collectors edition, or will they come up with a new cover for the collectors edition? either way, im still gonna get the collectors edition! this game is gonna be sweet!:D

I don't see why this game will be any different, but it depends on the content of the CE. If Epic decides to go the route that Bungie did with H2 and just add a DVD with the game, I'd imagine the simple tin case with Gears of War on the cover (though not as shiny as H2's). However, if the CE comes with the rumored faceplate the cover would most likely stay the same. I was hoping for the skull in the gear cover, but this one suits the game just fine.

actually, this was probably just a placeholder cover or something, i doubt they'd have an enemy character for the cover of the game, but i got the pic from gamefly, and they also had the release posted as 10/4/06, so hopefully they're right about that at least.

that cover looks a tad bit too PLAIN. i doubt they will only have 2 things on the cover. the one on EBgames looks alot better. EPIC will come up with something creative for the cover.:D

I still think a black tin with just the red cog logo (3d hologramed) would be just killer. No text on it at all. Something that couldn't get more black like one of Spinal Tap's albums.

I would love the tin box with the COG Insignia but the box should look battle damaged with scratches and dents to give it that I just came back from the hellish battlefield bruised and battered feel. Let's players get a glimpse about what their about the get into!

go to EBgames.com and click on the XBOX360 tab...on the right there will be a "coming soon" section with a few games listed. click "view a complete list", and then click on pg. #4 or 5. as of right now they have the regular and CE as the same covers. but check it out!:)

Not sure the kinda of design GOW will have on the Collector's Edition but it will be just as cool as these tin cases.

I might come up with a photoshop mock up of what it may look like
