This Dashboard update is a huge one, but not huge in size hopefully.... should make the 360 a much smoother experience over what it already is.

I guess all the critics (and most gamers) were right about it not coming out this week ^_^ the update looked too big to come so fast. I say moday-wensday next week it'll pop up. But the update looks awesome, lots of organization and upgrades (although I actually feel its becoming more advanced to the gamer...)

Knowing microsoft they might eventually update it, but thats not the purpose of the system. Thats why we have computers. The PS3 is going to allow it but i does not mean its going to be good. I mean c'mon, my psp internet sucks and they promised online multiplayer for tons of games(including GT4) but that either fell through or was really bad. The only exception would be the Socom games.

This sounds awesome, but i wish they would have fixed one more thing, PRIVATE CHAT!! they need to make a 3-4 way private chat instead of 2 people per chat lobby.

And when your not playing a game what are you doing???? Lookin on the internet or posting on forums about games on the internet, it just makes sense to have them both in one place, wireless keyboard and mouse setting next to you and you've got it made.

I never said the PS3 is going to suck. I Plan on picking one up when MGS4 comes out. My PSP internet must not work right then. I dont know if it has something with the firmware, maybe i got a bad download Im just expressing fustrations i've had with playstation. Besides that, i love all gaming companies.:D

Thats why we have computers? If my system had a good browser I wouldn't need a computer see the reasoning? I guess I could just start playing games on the pc and spend hundreds upon hundreds of dollars for constant upgrades and then have both, but I'd rather just have it has part of my system.

Hell yea MGS4! The only reason I want the system so far, psp online is a hit and miss at times. I was surprised when 360 didn't have the ability to browse from day one.

PS3 is 600$ Plus you will probaly have a sharp fee for the internet on it. You can get a very good gaming comp for under 1000$ if you build it

I was thinking about private chat the other day, imagine if you will being able to have say 4 of your buds in a room and you go into a game like Halo where you can be overheard by the other team, if your in private chat with them in the game that would give you the advantage of not being overheard.

If all you need a computer for is the internet then it would fit your need. But most of the people that use computers use it for other things also. I just dont want systems to become computer like what zoso said. The reason i bought my system is for gaming and online gaming community.

I thought the same thing... exept for barbie but w/e suits u lol. I don't know why it hasn't been done yet.
