Dunno, You can read it here... there isnt anything mentioned yet cuz Epic hasnt said anything... well from what i'm aware of (http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=200184)

But a faceplate would be killer! cuz i dont want to pay $200 on ebay for the ones they gave out at E3 >.<

They only put out 500 of the gears face plates out so dont think you get one unless want to pay over 100 us on ebay.but in saying that i would pay ex for a face plate to ship with the game that be sweet

Yea, that box looks kinda legit, I preorderd this game back in Nov so I'm excited for it! I hope we get those faceplates, cause I don't want to pay that much on Ebay for it. Especially if we get it for free, that would suck for everyone who bought it now.

the faceplates are a must. i think if you reserved the game you deserve a faceplate. i saw a picture of one and it looks real nice. it's a suggestion I hope they listen.

the faceplates that are on Ebay were the e3 exclusives, i just hope they make ones that are available to the general public. i've never bought a faceplate, but i think if i ever did, it'd be a Gears one. i always thought devs could use them for a pre-order bonus, thats what i think gears should do, or give it with the collector's edish...

When I was watching MTV's "The Race to E3," I noticed an Xbox 360 box in the background when Cliffy B was talking about the game. It said "Gears of War" and looked like Marcus was on the front but I couldn't tell otherwise.

In my opinion, I'd rather have the Collectors Edition box art because the standard just says "game" while the collectors says "hey, whats inside? why don't you put the disc in and find out!".

Either way, CE for me!

not only that but that is the official COG symbol, thats why its on marcu's, dom's and the other guys suits, it is the LOGO for GEARS OF WAR, and i am SURE it will be a part of the box art in some way...

I think that is the official box art. On the MTV2 race to e3, a part when Cliffy talks it shows the box in the background, along with the "DISPLAY CASE" sticker on the bottom right.

I saw that at local gamestores in my area. It's just "filler" box-art so the stores have something to show to people who may want to pre-order the game. I doubt it's official.

Yeah they should seriously do alot for the collector's edition. A tin can would be nice with that art on the front would be pretty cool... but you know they should include inside... a mini chainsaw lol, that'd be awesome
