Make your own storyline

In here, you can create your own GOW storyline. Whether it's just one small scene, re-making an old part of the story, or making a huge storyline of your own, post it here.

I would've had it started out with your in a war against another human force. You go through a few battles taking over some locations, then later fall into a trap the enemy had. Your in jail, your busted out, and as you fight the enemy on your breakout, monsters start coming out of the ground (the locust).

They attack the enemy, and you team up with whoever is leftover. So your knee-deep in what was your enemies territory, which is infested with Locust, and you must get back to your own territory (which was more fortified than your enemies). You retake the old locations you once had, and even go through de ja vu moments with the same locations as when you started the game.

That's really all I would've done to start the game. From the looks of the actual game, you just start straight into slaughtering Locust.

In the game currently you are sent to military prison for disobeying orders and falling back from your post. The Locust break through on Emergence Day and your best friend, Dominic(durr, I'm dumb), comes to bail you out of prison.

well i meant theres no real background of the locust, they appear from the very beginning. Having them appear later in the game would've been better.

When you and your friend are just lying around, a mysterious figure pops up and blasts your friend in the head with some type of gun. Later on, your blamed for your friends death and get sent to Prison. (This is where the REAL storyline comes in) but heres my twist, while also fighting the Locusts and trying to save Humanity, you must also try and find out who killed your friend.

What Epic mean by making your own story is-
There are multiple paths that you can take. You do not have to go in all guns blazing(suggest you do not do that,) but you can also scope out the enemy, and go around their flanks

You guys r right. They introduced the Locust right away, I'm not sure they sure what they should've done anything diffrently though :) In Halo one they introduced you to the Covenant right away because that's wut the game is about, same with GoW. If bungie could pull it off so can Epic. I think, and hope, that they will show a movie clip before you start the game. You know, to tell you everything that's going on.

Gears is about fighting locust, back the prologue was a war between humans over imulsion, and now the locust have appeared, and everyone bands together. IMO it would just be cooler to fight locust after a before-it-happens mission.
