What would you want the CE box art to look like?

Personally I'd like a more simplistic case. Like a black metal case with the Crimson Omen toward the bottom-right corner and Gears of War at the top of the case. Your thoughts? And on an unrelated note, I would like a different instruction booklet than the standard GoW.

I think it would look quite cool if the CE tin was Black (with a red mist at the bottom of the tin); displaying the Gears of war logo and writing, and some 3D bullet hole effects :cool:

i think it would be cool if it had the tin black case with the omen on it in the middle and there was blood dripping off of it and on the ground in the pool of blood that it created, it says gears of war like smeared into it. and then for the manual booklet it shows marcus holding his lancer with one hand and the lancer is hanging towards the ground and marcus is walking away with his back turned to us and his chainsaw is dripping with locust blood..:D i no, alot of blood but i think it'd be cool :cool:

Yeah that would be perfect, like Halo 2, and it could have a little description on the back of the sleeve as well. On the sleeve's front side, the xbox 360 tag, logos and maybe the gears of war text on it.

But the red omen on the front of the tin is perfect.

A nice plain black metal case, the Crimson Omen on the front in red, bumped out slightly of course, like the Halo 2 logo on the CE edition. On the back, watermarked onto the case, the picture of Marcus croucing with his Lancer, the one that is on the posters you may have seen. Again, in the same style that the Chief is on the back of the Halo 2 Collector's Edition.

ok, so i would have the shiny black metal case with the crimson omen embeded on it and taking up the top half of the front of the case, under that would be Gears of War written in its cool text, then on the back, there would be a couple of spinning gears embeded into the case, and there would be blood dripping off the gears. by gears i mean actuall gears, not the characters of course. :) ...........anyone else want to see that?....Cliffy how bout you???

This is what I'd like: Tin Case with the color of Rusting Metal, EPIC and MS logo on the bottom-left and the Omen in the bottom-right, Marcus standing with his Lancer raised and you can see smoke coming off the Chainsaw (like it's running) and you see just a Locust's head in awe, then when you open the Tin Case up you see the Chainsaw colliding with the Locust on the acctual Game Box, blood and all.

That's All I could think of so far :D.

i would like to see the gears symbol on the front in the middle with 3d bullet holes (like black holes with the metal tearing around them and the stick out so you can feel them) shooting all thru it, and then the same thing on the back in the same exact order as the front so it looks like sum1 shot thru the case, that'd be cool :)

I would like if they did like a Saving Private Ryan DVD case approach, but metal. Have a metal case but the design is a ammo crate, and then the crimson omen etched into the "crate"

it seems like CE cases are more basic but cooler than normal boxart, yours is cool but seems like too much stuff to be on a CE case, not a bad idea though

Yeah, like the Splinter Cell Chaos Theory CE case was green and it looked like there was rain on it, and it had 3 green dots (his SC goggles) and a blood drop that looked like it had trailed down from the top.
