Anyone know if there is going to be an action figure tie-in for the game? Epic, if you're reading this, look into MacFarlane Toys. They could recreate the COGS and Locust Horde to a tee. Just my 2 cents.

The game hasn't even come out yet and I think some of us are moving to fast with bringing the franchise in different medium forms.
Let's get the game out first, then we'll see where Epic takes the Gears of War franchise.
But, these ideas would be interesting. ;)

Wouldn't it be great to have one of these next to your 360?

Microsoft is going to popularize GOW, then launch it, then milk it. I i wouldn't be surprised.

i heard they are going to go crazy when the game comes out by promoting it with all the power of media they have, which means tv ads, GoW posters on buses and buildings, maybe even GOW cupcakes! who knows!

FYI that's a sculpture by our Art Lead, Chris Perna. It's in his office. Hella talented - as they say.

i've never bought action figures of video game characters, mostly because they've never made them for the games i really like, but if they made GoW figures, i'd probably get one or 2. they'd be cool to place around the entertainment center...

The last action figure I bought was a stormtrooper when I was like seven, but I would be pretty stoked if they released some kind of bust with Marcus putting a gun to some fierce looking Drone's head or something.
btw I bet that guests can't get a wink of sleep at Chris Perna's place anymore, what with all the Locust that must now inhabit his humble abode ;)

I found one of the Quake2 marine action figures at a flea market for 2 dollars so I bought it. Sit's on my desk now.
Wow that bust is awesome! I love having action figures from the games I play; I have a full set of the UT2004 ones on the hutch over my desk. :nerd:
