Hey gearheads
Would anyone mind telling me the price of what Xbox Live is? I have been wondering if I should buy it or not for quite some time, and looking at how great the multiplayer will be in Gears of War, it is very tempting to get it.:)

Just go for the yearly subscription.

It's 49.99 a year.

It's definitely worth it for what you get. There are so many downloads now! I had the old live subsciption and saw the new one at a friend's house. I ordered it the next day.

Live rocks! I bought Unreal Championship and got Live for Xbox and I would NEVER go back to not having online play again! Plus, Gears rocks and so.... *weighs options*

Yeah Xbox Live is a must if you own a 360 and with Gears coming....yeah you should get it.

I have a 360, but just died yesterday :(. I have Live.

Xbox live is definately a MUST have with a xbox 360!!!! Its like only eating bread instead of eating a sandwich!:D

Live is a must in my opinion. All sorts of good stuff on marketplace and it is sure to grow. Fifty bucks a year isn't much to ask, but eventually I hope they offer it free with advertisements. I don't mind a few ads while downloading. Plus GoW multiplayer is gonna rock!

Ya 50 bucks a year is worth the demos alone! And you get that with the free silver account! :)
